Being one of the lucky invitees to Forum Freeroll, I was lucky to be able participate in an event that produced awsome poker.

From that I wondered what we could do to enhance our regular weekly games at our local venues, if you have an idea stick it in the mix you never know it might be something the front office may want to run within each season we maybe able to include a special event.

Already some venues run a bounty game within the normal NPL game.

A Head's Up night I have an idea how to run it at a local venue, wether it happens on one night or over two depends on a number of factors, winners of the venue heads up could advance to a regional final and then ultimatly at state champion.
If someone wants to pick my brain PM me.

There I have kicked it off lets see what other ideas are out there.

this might be cynical, but since garth has left the sa managers role, the NPL management dont seem to have an input into the forum - or listen to the ideas generated here.

so while it is nice to bounce ideas around, i doubt they will be acted upon.

i hope that my statement will be proved wrong in the future

I know Nathan reads those ideas and gets pretty excited about them (as he does most anything) :P
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

Did anyone actually act on NPL management's offer to accept input from players as to next years payout/prize structure? I know I had plans to, but never actually got around to it.
