Anyone know what time things finished up last night? Who made final table and money?
Also, I'd like to take this opportunity to send out a huge thanks to the NPL staff throughout the season and at the finals, it was another truly professional effort on their behalf and I look forward to many more seasons and finals in the future.

Well, I came no where!!! My JJ fell over to KK about 40 mins left on the first flight!!!! I think I may take on Nevahs ruling - NEVBH PLAY JJ!!!!!
Took about 9K of may stack, left me with about 3K which was eaten up in my BB & SB following the hand!!!!

Re: State Finals - Results
my bro got 17th i think, although he was chip leader when there were 20 left.
got his QQ cracked by 88 (he'll probably tell you all about it tomorrow when he is on strike!)
he rang me at about 1130 and there was 20 left then, so it would have gone to 1am at least
from what matt was saying, ryan little was the one who had 88.
so there was a at least 1 B&G player left in the tourney (and matt who is an ex B&G)
well done to all players who cashed, and super well done to the winner.

Re: State Finals - Results
Quick write up will be available tomorrow online, a more indepth write up will be next week as all senior managers are in meetings at head office this week.
Final Table finished at 1.15 am, there was no heads up as 2nd and 3rd were eliminated in the one hand. From memory (and remember this was almost 18 hours into the day for me) DES HERBERT, from the Brighton Metro, was crowned STATE CHAMPION when his 2,3 took down TONY WARD'S K,J and NATHAN LEWIS' J,6, Blackwood football club, he hit a deuce on the flop and the turn and river produced no luck from then on.
We then had Voula Tzaras, Tonsley, finish in fourth. Voula was well on her way to a good finish after doubling up through DES earlier and taking a massive chip lead. But they confronted each other in the blinds with DES' K3 taking on Voula's K9, they both hit a K on the flop and the chips were soon all in, Voula was looking good to eliminate her biggest threat when DES paired his kicker on the river giving him Kings and fours two pair.
From 5th - 8th I'm a little cloudy on what occurred.
5th - Adrian Gravelle from Cavan Hotel
6th - Ryan Little (Barossa Brauhaus)
7th - Scott Munro (Bombay Bike)
8th - Gareth Hill (Kingsford)
9th - Simon Landrigan(Hallet Cove) unfortunately Simon did not make the final table as he was one of two players who were eliminated on the final table bubble.
For those of you interested we had 5 players from the State Leaderboard finish in the top 30, 8 players from regional areas cash (one lady even from Port Lincoln, sorry I can't remember your name). And the venue that presented the most finalists (in the top 50) was actually a tie between Pooraka F.C (cementing it's reputation as the strongest filed of NPL players in the Metro region) and the Renmark Club in the Riverland. Well done Riverlanders!
I'll do a more in depth recap when I have the time. Hope this was enough info to satiate your curiosities.
