Can anyone help teach me how to use my TV as my PC monitor? I bought a cable, and I can get the windows startup logo on there, but nothing else.
Is it a display thing on my PC or my TV?

Re: Watching PC on TV
If your vid card is using Nvidia drivers then it's fairly easy to tell your pc that you have a TV attached and to change things about.
If it's ATI then here's 40c and you can go call the Salvos

Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

Re: Watching PC on TV
plug the tv into your comp.
when ur computer boots up, right click on the desktop, and go to properties.
then go to the settings tab
you should see two boxes representing your monitor.
click on the second one, and check the box "enable this monitor" (or something like that, i am doing this from memory)
it should pop up now.
you can then choose which one is your primary etc. (better off to have your PC as the primary always)
hope this helps, let me know if u have any other questions

Re: Watching PC on TV
if your on a laptop.
Find the Fn key and it is usually f5. Press together. And it gives you three choices. Laptop, Laptop and monitor, or Monitor.
Of your on desktop. Do the old right click on desktop, then properties then onto settings tab and have a play on there.
This is for XP
