Why? No online games currently carry a 5x multiplier. That only applies to away games.

sorry... didnt realise this... but i still think taking the multiplier off of these games is the better option.

these people support 888pl in no way at all.
the freerolls are basically to get people on the site in the hope that they deposit. personally, i think that there is enough of a player base that the freerolls should be scaled back and cash games increased.
having 55c or even 10c buyin tourneys would be way better than freerolls imo.

Re: Another Scoreboard question
Steve the reason you have so many runners in a freerolls is because it Free its budget poker.
There is no multiplyer on freeroll games, but the is for Buy-in/rebuy events, however with events like ALK and MM being free to enter but having a re-buy element too many players register, and either dont play or dont re-buy when their chips are depleated, these players place an unfair advantage to the serious player because of the increased numbers.
ALK and MM should become $2.00 + 20c buyin in and rebuys capped a $1.00 + 10c.
And simpily if you want heaps of Freerolls during the day then take them out of the tournement section and place them in the play money section because that's how freerollers treat the events, no cost so I can play bingo, and theres anther one starting soon if I get canned.

Re: Another Scoreboard question
Need 2 look at what's fair 4 city & country
yeah can increase multipliers for venue freeroll but in terms of fairness it makes it harder 4 country folk 2 compete equally, since I could 20 venues in a week they can't
online play is the fairest way 2 compete since we all have equall access But getting rid of the freeroll freerollers can only be done by entry fee.
Yes there r many games I have signed up 2 but not played, but when I'm there i almost always do at least 1 rebuy.

Re: Another Scoreboard question
think i need to clarify a few things here if i can...
i agree that the current set up with AK & MM is wrong, the bingo that is played for the points reward at the end is stupid, all i was saying was if they want to keep these as freroll/rebuy games then maybe taking the 3x multiplier off of these particular games may be an option.
i am not saying in any way there should be more freerolls with points attached at all... yeah, i play a lot of freerolls currently more due to circumstance than choice, but i also play buy in events online regularly and just because there is a cost attached doesnt always attract a better poker player!!!
hope this makes things clearer cos i think my previous comments may have been taken the wrong way...

thats not the point. the point is, these games are essentially freeroll games, but have the perks of a challenge game, and they allow people to spend nothing and get a challenge points multiplier.
to the people that play these games properly, there is no disadvantage to having a buyin as well as a rebuy. (except they also dont get the benefit of the freerolling people that will get knocked out early)

With all due respect wrabbit it would be beter if you went back a read at least the last 5 or so pages of this thread, as it contains comment about that may fill you in about the discussion.
Also as Garth kindly pointed out if you want to have bitch, be prepared to also offer some solution or suggested ideas.
