Despite your valiant efforts to get things sorted, how can you *guarantee* the results are correct at the end of the season?
With so many stuff ups with the data and still games missing after it’s been “fixed” or synced, being reasonably certain that it is all true and correct is going to be a bit of a stretch. I know that I’m still missing online games (from dates that have supposedly been fixed) and I’m only guessing that my venue games are close to accurate.
We are relying on 888 and you guys to keep accurate records of our games and then present them in a user friendly manner (something which is sadly lacking from this new layout). And now, with less than two weeks to the end of season things are still up in the air.
I know that it’s easy to criticise, ESPECIALLY if all the facts aren’t known, but ... - I’ve actually just stopped myself from criticising the site and adding further to your woes by asking a few “What were you thinking?” type questions and comments. However, I will summarise these by saying, if you raise Larry, Curly & Moe from the dead to do your site & data systems then you are going to expect some issues.
Perhaps we can be sent a text message when you have restored some normality to 888PL so we can start taking it seriously again. This season is pretty much a right off.
I'm glad I wasn't the only one getting annoyed with the scoreboards etc. I held my tongue as I thought I was alone in this and also because I understand development projects can take time. But if screwed my clients like you guys are being screwed well....
Anyway, keep at it. I'm sure you'll get it sorted one day and hopefully before the next season starts.
