Apparently it is etiquette to never name an opponent unless you have their permission. I have been cautioned for doing this recently.

Applauded....nah. What did he/she make with his/her possible AA, 80? what a waste of a great starting hand.

There are some strange plays in that nightly tournment. I have seen a few pre-flop all in the first blind level with no raises.
Note to self: Fold Aces on the bubble.......

What if, and think about it, the player had 93o?

Didn't they made, what 80 with a junk hand?
You are assuming they had AA.... nothing says they did.

Well on page 7 of this thread, the OP said the player said they had AA. And in my post I said possible AA.

Have you never lied after a hand about the contents?

I'm not saying that couldn't have AA, but imagine they had 93, and made a person fold QQ? Isn't that good play?

That would be called a successful bluff.

But it's not a very good idea to commence bluffing at such an early stage of the tournament.

Of course they could be telling a lie and I personally I think they are.

But at that early stage with a $10k start stack, I don't think its applaudable play to have won the 80 with a bluff either.
