Was thinking about this thread as I am trying to help with some songs for a friends funeral Monday. Hope i am loading these right.

Just liked these as funeral songs and they are not songs my friend would pick. He had very eclectic taste in music and loved to push the boundries and we are struggling to find something that will not offend his mother.

Just on this, I think the real, and only decision on how the day is run is left up to the person who died (provided arrangements were made). If it was their favourite song, who cares if it offends some uptight family members. Not their funeral.

Re: Your Funeral Song?
Not a big issue and I am sure we will come up with something. I know that my friend would have just wanted what ever made his partner happy. His death was so sudden though that it got me thinking about this thread and updating my own plans. I mean I am not going to have some moron play" all things bright and wonderful" just to keep the peace. I am not my friend and I do not want music that will keep my partner happy. Not planning on dying anytime soon though by the time I do who knows what the song will be.
