In high stakes poker there are always rules. I would say that there were rules applied to this game. Same as the run it twice rule and chopping the pot.
There are a lot of different little things going on once you step up to the higher stake games.

Damn thread hijackers. You don't see me doing that .. :D

Game 2 of Pete's challenge - and this hand transipres ...

Blinds 50/100

Pete UTG raises to 400. Lizi next to act, calls.

Folds around to the button(me), looking at aces. have about 1600, so i jam it.

Pete has about 600 left, and calls. Lizi calls.

Cards are flipped, Pete has tens , Lizi has K7.

Flop comes out 10 J 8. Great. 3 outs to Pete.

Turn comes 9. Great. Aces smashed on the flop, and even harder on the turn.

River .... 7.

:D

So the board flopped a straight, split pot, everyone survived?

Be fair, AK. Pete has to celebrate every small victory he can this season :D

Yep, split pot, but was amusing to see my hand fall behind to a set on the flop, even further behind to a turned straight, and end up back at square one. :)

So who ended up outlasting who Scott? I'm guessing you both DNP'd, or the forum would be overflowing with that lovely fluid called bragging.
