4pm start is a good one too, cos it means anyone with sports on early Sunday morning (say that start at 11am) can get a game in for the afternoon.
Smart move by all concerned I reckon.
Tim, you know Bob will never be happy.

Marc, I have been doing some reading of some of Mr Berminghams posts & I think I may have just found his Achilles heel,
FREE PIZZA!!
(I guess that would then be an Achilles Meal?)

i think in general, NPL have done a great job in making every player feel like they have a bit of say in the way that NPL is run. i think its a credit to garth that people's concerns do get heard via this forum, and most importantly the good ideas are acted apon. you in some ways, bob and others venting like this is a good thing, because we believe that if something is wrong, it will get fixed.

Re: Sad to see BRAHMA LODGE SPORTS CENTRE HAS GONE
Hi there benny the cunt, nice post. I did actually go to the Gardens last night and I must say it's nice to be missed and that my fellow punters were glad to see me back.
It was nice to see Garth there too. His or the NPL's generousity in donating the 6 chip sets was a nice jesture to encourage a return of the lost PUNTERS!!!!!
I believe there were 121 runners a new exciting record for the Gardens 3 more than their previous best I believe. Wow, WTG Gardens.
Strangely enough, I didn't see many of the PUNTERS from the Brahma Lodge Sporting Centre there though!!!! I guess they must have gone to the Pooraka Footy Club on the Tuesday night.
They also had a record number of PUNTERS there too with 104 runners, Amazing!!!!!! Good to see these two heavy weights fighting it out for biggest bite of NPL's North Eastern pie.
Well I suppose it's time to put an end to this post. It seems that after talking to Tim, the powers to be believe they have done the right thing.
So, I'm going to put this baby to rest and find another topic, I might call it "why don't some of the more prosperous venues offer PIZZA'S or finger food to there punters on the last break???"

Well there you go Tim. Get old Greg baby or Bob to put up the pies and pasties again LOL. That was a really nice touch and from memory I wrote about it on the forum.
By the way I tried the fishermans basket last night batter on the fish was too heavy and oily. Everything else was passable.
