No, that's what it means. Some variations:

FTL = for the loss. "That shirt is FTL" - "That shirt is so stupid/crappy/weak."

Why does For The Win (FTW) need an abbreviation in the first place?

Sure its easier to write, but its actually less syllables to say For the win than FTW...

I don't think anyone actually says 'FTW' instead of 'for the win', it's just a typing thing :)



Kinda like WTF, only time I think I've heard that said instead of it's full pronunciation was in an amusing flash animation paying out Australians and kangaroos (and the yanks of course)
