Light is a hoax.

He didn't even want to use the final site, he had to be convinced. He was sick, tired, and did not like field work.

The design itself wasn't new or original and there's strong doubt over who actually created the design.

In my opinion, there should be a statue of George Kingston where Light stands now. Or maybe a statue of Kingston next to light, flipping him the bird.
