I don't think we are "hanging our hat" on the win. It's just a cause for celebration and also silences the people who wrote our team off. They can all go suck an egg. Especially the guy who put $1million on the Cats.

You know how I feel. Everybody thought WC was gonna be a bottom 4 side this year but they are a real contender. Haven't heard much from the people who wrote them off last year.

I think the win was great!

I have been to two very disappointing Bomber games since moving back to Melbourne, We seem to be the team that always knocks off the top dog. Last night V Geelong, Last year against St Kilda etc..

I thought the bomber were off to a great start to the year. We knock of the Western Bulldogs by 5o points in round one (after they were originally picked as a top 4 team this year). The Draw with Carlton, lose to Sydney in Sydney by less than a goal. Go toe to toe with Collingwood for 3 quarters and 20 minutes (before they run out 4 quick ones on us when we ran out of legs).... oh, and we thrashed the all might F**K out of the Gold Coast

As a Bomber fan I was quite happy with those early year results as I wouldn't have guessed we were even in finals contentions for next 3-4 after last seasons effort.

What does suck, is after that brave start to the year. We lose to Richmond, Melbourne, North Melbourne and Freo all in quite mediocre games! I mean WTF?!

Some wins are celebrated more than others... Beating Geelong after our season was looking pear shaped was definitely needed to raise clubs spirits.

the point is, one single win doesn't silence anybody. yes, be happy, but to all of a sudden say you are better than hawthorn because you beat geelong but they didnt is just stupid

No I am clearly just trying to mess with Harps after he insulted my team a few hours after we lost a game. Probably not the best timing for that comment from Harps.

And I should also say because it's online and you can't really read comments in context that Harps and I bantering is nothing personal (well at least I hope so). It's just friendly banter. As they say, at the end of the day it's just a game.
