I don't get the hate for Jav here, he's the one that actually played the hand well.
You cannot check that flop to your opponent, after raising preflop, when he has such a small stack. You give him all the power to shove on you and take a pot that will put him in a more dangerous position.

Re: For Jav1000
No hate for the Jav from me the Guy puts himself out there and plays, i actually tried to find him at the ME to meet the guy you can ask Jo that.
My opinion just differers. Jo played it how Jo plays and Jav got lucky like he said.

Im looking at it from Jav pov instead of critising a player who gets out there and gets results.
I agree it was too much Pre as I was watching the cricket and took the lazy option of hitting one of the auto raises and thought he had 8.5k.
As I mentioned earlier, I was trying to rep a big hand, and I thought raising would look stronger than just shoving again. My thinking was I could get him to fold more hands this way. Since I was holding a K, I thought any pair or Ace would be the only the hands he would shove even though he was short stacked (only Jo can answer this one but that is what I thought based on our images) but thinking he had 8.5k, I was folding to his shove Pre.
I was surprised when Jo just called Pre and mentally gave up the hand unless I hit my King but when the flop came 9 high and saw that Jo only had just over 3k left in a 7k flop, a check would've been the same as folding, but I believed there might be some hands he might fold but if he calls my King was most likely live if I hit based on that flop.
Finally, the reason for my posts is not to justify or defend my play (whether correct or not) but to see what others thought of my thinking behind my play on this hand and how they would have played it in the same situation. I really appreciate for the feedback already received, all good.

Re: For Jav1000
I understand your position and thinking Jav. You come across as a player who does think about your game and this shows with you results.
Ive been playing stacks of SnGs on Stars and use the preset custom preset slider alot. My thinking in this position just over a min raise is enough to make him fold here but also leaves you the option to fold to a shove or a flop your dont like with this hand, even more so knowing Jmack doesnt do anything crazy here. Against any other player i would ship the flop for sure once you put yourself in the position you did. Really though i would rather fold this hand especially if you did make moves the previous two times in this position, you can find a much more positive spot than this. You were in a good position still and didnt really need to risk it. That being said it is only a $10 game but when i play someone like him i treat it like we are playing for sheep stations cause i know he never gives you chips for free.

I hear you like it when 82o calls your all-in when holding A's

I busted almost half way through Day 2 and up to that point, the bet sizing was all over the place (having a high turnover of players didn't help, lost approx 20 players when I busted).
Most played like they were at their venue game (had mainly NSW) and they didn't really understand we were playing deepstack. Had one guy who was playing fairly solid for an hour or so, then suddenly shoves UTG for 40BB (Blinds 1.5/3k). I thought to myself, this guy probably has KK as many were calling with any Ace. Then the loosest player on the table tanks for about 5mins with a slightly bigger stack and finally calls with QQ. Everyone was shocked when UTG turns over 5's and pretty much at the same time dealer turns over the 5 in the window, WOW!!! Q hits the turn WOW!!! WOW!!! Everyone's reaction was priceless!
There was a lot of 3 to 4x raises Pre flop, which led to big pots post flop. One guy started with 100k on Day 2 and lost it all very quickly chasing draws for this reason.
An old guy that was a tight player 4-bets big and was called by A5 (for a third of his stack), Ace hits the flop and the caller shoves for the rest of his stack (started with at least 30BB), old guy mucks KK face up and the caller shows him the A5 when another player folded a better Ace to the 4-bet Pre.
How did you find it BBT?

Play towards the end if the second day had a few light blue shirt players raising to 70k when blinds were 5k 10k. Was standard for them apparently.

Re: For Jav1000
I had it in my mind to sit out first few levels assuming it would be ugly. I did sit down for the HooHaa but didnt bring my lanyard so i went for a walk to get it and when i came back i stood behind my table for the 2nd level. On my table 5k chips were being put i and exchanged already.
Nothing really changed when i sat down. I tried to stay out of the action which was fortunate. I folded 24c in the bb, to a min raise and 5 callers, flop came out 224 which i was thinking dam at the time until plenty more chips went in, winner showed pocket 4s mmm good fold.
I lost about 7k when i had Js and was called down on a friendly board by Ks, should of folded them, i said to myself just to muck them in the early levels. The betting continued at a min of 4x with multiple callers every pot. I took another few hits when i had to fold to large reraises pre and post flop, down to about 16k. I then limped utg with AA hoping they couldnt help themselves to which i had 5 or 6 callers b4 the shortstack in the bb made it 1600 to which i quickly made it 4200. Everyone except him then folded flop was K1010 which made it hard to bet out but i made it 6k and he folded, pretty sure he showed 8s.
Probably near the end of the fourth level i busted with 60ish bb behind me. Utg opened for 2050 at 200/400 i had KK and made it 6700 hoping to either get a fold or a reraise thinking he could have AA. He flat and flop came out 375 rainbow, with the pot about 16k, only having 16ish left and with my fustration with what i considered aweful play and players i was up against i decided to jam. Whoops he had pkt 5s, really thought i was only losing to the one hand.
Looking back i was never in the right frame of mind, i had spent to much energy getting the ticket to what i considered a tournment which would be full strange play and players putting it nicely, not saying the tournment istelf wasnt an awesome structure and well run.
From what ive been learning (reading and watching the pros in many different forums) my mindset wasnt ready for this. If i want to play a FHG ME again im going to have to bring an entirely different game i think, but this something im not sure i want to do as im trying to head in a totally different drection, level.
If there is a next one for me it would be good to discuss new game plan statergies with some of the 888pl guns out there.

Re: For Jav1000
By the way i did have a good weekend overall. In the first 20mins of being in the Crown i went to get my Signature card reactivated and put $20 in the nearest pokie oops won the jackpot for $1180.
In 3 sessions on the cash tables, including my regular all night 14hr session came out about 1200 up. In tournies i contined to play bad except for the AM sat which i ran fairly deep, busted with 1010 into A10 with less than two tables left.
If the next one is on the GC it might just be the deal maker lol.
