Details to be released shortly with the ME dates and details surrounding the whole weekend.

I can state that the strucutre for the event is very attractive and most of you on here will probably drool when you see it, but there might be some adjustments at Crown's end.

There will be a qualifiers pack which is looking good and there will be a welcome party on the Friday night. The $200 admin fee goes towards funding these activities as well as the marketing and collateral surrounding this. Qualifiers will be pretty excited with the direction we are taking with this event.

It will be a 3 day event, slightly more relaxed strucutre with shorter days. I will leave it to Milf to release the details!

im guessing shorter days is for staff reasons? because as players i think we would love to have the same length of day.

imo i would love to have pretty much the same structure except for 1 hour levels and then play for 9-10 hours on the first day (maybe 8-9 levels including breaks), down to final table on the second day, then wind back to 40bb average and have the final table on sunday

Nope - for other reasons. This event is slightly more than just a poker tournament.

That would be amazing but I doubt they can justify that for the buy in.

Outside of the Aussie Millions ME the only tournament I've seen in Crown with 1 hour blind levels was the ANZPT ME and that was $2,200.

As for the 200 rake, as its going towards improving the entire experience for the players then nobody can argue with that.

Sounds like its going to be one hell of a weekend!
