Some say "rose coloured glasses"

Most say "being positive"

Seriously though, footy is entertainment, and we follow who we want for enjoyment - who CARES if someone looks at their team in a positive light.

AFL umpires will wear the logo of eye care company OPSM for the next two years under a deal announced today.

The company will offer free vision testing at selected games as part of its sponsorship of the umpiring department.

AFL umpires’ manager Jeff Gieschen said umpires had already benefitted from OPSM’s service for several years.

“All AFL umpires have regular eye examinations as part of their pre-season preparation, so we’re really pleased to be associated with a partner which makes a valuable contribution to the umpiring program, as well as the broader AFL community,” Gieschen said.

Gieschen launched the deal yesterday with AFL marketing and commercial operations manager Paul Waldren and umpires Brett Rosebury and Chelsea Roffey at the OPSM Little Collins St store.

"OPSM provides fantastic services which are so relevant to the Australian football community. I’m sure I’m not alone in saying I have difficulty following the ball or reading the score at the football from time to time," Waldren said.

“Hopefully the AFL’s partnership with OPSM will generate awareness and encourage supporters to have their eyes tested every two years as recommended by optometrists."

As his coach could only get 2 wins in his first 9 finals, and twice finished on top of the AFL ladder and didn't make a GF (third times a charm), he's jealous that Neil got 3 wins for the first 9, and has only missed the GF once when finishing top (from 1 attempt).

If I had any inclination that Des actually had any idea about AFL, then I'd probably consider his opinion. :D :D ;)

Neil craig's record in finals is poor, but think of it this way. In how many finals series in recent years has he got the crows to perform well above their 'ability' to finish in the finals only to bow out in gallant losses against higher ranked teams?

Granted there were a few times when the crows should have gone further into the finals, but in terms of overall winning percentage he is one of the most winningest coaches OF ALL TIME. Think im joking, then google it. He has been one of the highest percentage of games won in the AFL for a few years now.

Coming from someone who said Mr. MacGill was better than Mr. Warne.

Oh by the way... hook line and sinker.

Crows supporters are so damn easy to rile up.
