G__ I do believe I gave a ruling:
The TD's should be declaring last hand with one minute to go, no more time than that. A hand should not really start once last hand is declared. And going against popular opinion a hand does not commence from when the blinds are posted but when the first riffle of the deck.
To say that a TD, TA or regional operator does not have a real job is fairly senseless. For some of our guys they are working seven days a week and live, eat, breathe poker and NPL.
And yes MOST of our NPL staff are good poker players.
I also agree that some of our staff do need to learn to accept criticism and develop better customer service skills, hence why a new training regime is implemented. But in the end no matter the ruling, no matter if it is blatantly wrong to what is written in the rule book, there is always that one little clause:
. Tournament hosts reserve the right to make decisions in the spirit of fairness, even if a strict interpretation of the rules may indicate a different ruling
