We were in the top 6 chips very early in the challenge semi when she got moved to my table and called my all in raise for more than 2/3rds of her stack with QQ and no reads on me. I don't know if she really is that great unless you guys do the same thing in her position...

I dont think I've ever laid down QQ pre flop at a pub poker tournament( I know the challenge semi final was the best ever structured pub poker event, but still....) I cant remember exactly how this hand played out Trishan but I do know that if you shoved a massive stack early in a deep stack tourney I'm calling with a wide range that definately includes QQ to have shot at cruising through the next few levels. You'll have to post the details again so I can remember how it played out.

Now I didn't play the hand perfectly - but I just think you gotta fold queens when your tournament life is on the line, still fairly early, no need for desperation. Maybe just me.

See in that spot its more like 80% - 90% of her chips, which is tougher, depending on the blinds(top 5 doesn't matter that much with more than half the field left, you should be worried about your M) I still don't mind it that much, but I do get your point. I think you both just took the flip according to the "go hard or go home theory."
