@BigPete: Yeah, i kinda figured that, but I mean like where did they get these ideas from in the first place? Was it watching Gus Hansen call down a bluff to win with 2nd pair on TV? Was it the warm-fuzzies the first time they chased a flush and hit? Where do ppl get half of these crasy ideas out there? Bein taught by grandpa and makin the transition from 5card draw to NLHE?
But god-bless poker on tv really, makes the game look so so simple, thank god they dont show the 3+ hours of boring as hell hands and all the work players like Gus above put in to be able to read their opponent and know their Q8 is good on J8273 with 3 clubs! Thats what has brought floods of people into the game...

Yeah I chase a NFD at NPL freerolls to...
not saying you are an idiot, but there are lots implied odds situations where i will chase draws without getting the correct odds


It more when they shove on them, or pay far too much. Ive got pretty good a sniffin out drawers, and am outa there if the flush card hits.
