In regards to Ashley's comment you are somewhat correct. They will be Lightning Poker tables very similar to ones in Sydney Casino.
As for poker being 24/7, dont get ur hopes up. Alot still to be sorted out, so could still be a while before you see one. And in regards to Krunchie's comment they are alot more than 30k.

I dunno about them though. There's just something about having the cards and chips in front of you that I like when compared to the digital display. Sure, might be good to have a dabble on one and actually see what they're like but if I want to play on a screen, I'll play online. Just my preference though.
Will dance for your chips!

I didn't mind them at all. You can still get a read off the other players as your not just sitting at home in front of a screen. The open chat is still there with a live person and there's some nice ladies passing by from time to time.

u cant play these tables in your undies...

you also cant scream at them to fold when you have just reraised all in on a stone cold bluff and they have 5 seconds left in the time bank

it would mean a lot more hands though, and they would be open in the daytime, so these would both be good things.

I have to agree with the undies thing benny the cunt. It's so comfy.

The yelling and swearing would be a problem too as my missus had to ban me for an hour one day for bad language while the grandson was over. :o

Must everything be computerised and modernised?

I'll stick with cards and chips.

i thought the same untill i spent a couple of hours on the poker pro table at melbourne

the first few minutes is a bit daunting as you sit in to an already running game insert your card and your off, so you are very aware of everyone else looking at the newbie

to look at your cards takes a little getting used to but once you get the hang of it i like it a lot

its not the same as online as you are still playing with people and there are tells, just the way they use the consol is a tell for eg

you get through more hands with the machine dealing and it makes no mistakes so there is no aguments no human error on the dealing or rules side of things, just you vs the other players in a very pure game of poker

it was great fun and i doubled my 100 in2hrs
Does anyone know how to make money playing uno vs 6 year olds, its about the only card game i get to play these days.
