No, but I would look to play in several of the side events and spread up to $6K over 4 or 5 events.

With my recent success and run good I have had some offers of serious staking but something I am not willing to take on until I have got at least 1,000 tourneys under my belt.

The Main Event is a sincere goal for 2012, but at the moment I have left my run pretty late but still have two or three events to go.

I don't think it is a BRM issue when eg AM M.E.

Have you played in the M.E. before?

Perhaps striking whilst the run good is around could be your best course of action?
(make terms with your backer(s) that are not too full on and have a red hot crack)
Fate, destiny etc....
