Just been looking at the Grand Final main event structure (http://www.888pl.com.au/Documents.asp?I ... 1%262+2010) and notice that the header says "45 minute levels with antes", but the table below has times for 40 minute levels.

Which is correct?

Typo

All levels will be 40 minutes in duration.

Bump

Just wondering, which forumers will be going to this event? It would be great to finally meet everyone in person (for those of whom I do not know)

Besides myself and the usual head honchos (Garth and Nathan), the people that I know are going so far are:

Dave
Bacon
old-man daryl
Bennymacca

Who is joining the list?

Not me yet but I suppose there is still time. Would have loved to just buy directly in but my husband has banned me from doing this :o His logic is that if I think I am good enough to play on the day then I will be good enough to win a ticket.

WUT!?

Whilst Satellites are (in most cases) the cheaper option most players to any event will buy in directly as it is +EV to buy in directly and not be put on tilt by some of the disiculous play seen in satellites.

LOL.

And variance has a big impact on your performance in satellites and you could play 50 in a row and lose in terrible circumstances. So winning a ticket via a satellite is not a measure of your skill unless you can be a profitable player over 100+ sats.
