Re: Playing the big stack
psot: should actually be a post, often doesn't make sense at all and frequently seen after Luke05(Jamo).

Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

Re: Playing the big stack
I agree completely with Garth. Turning into a calling station after you've amassed a large stack is a -EV play. As he said, the army with the most bullets wins, but those bullets still have to find their targets.
Big stack - You are Rome. Wield your army properly.
Average stack - You are a sniper. You have afew precise shots you can get off before a well-hidden land mine halts your progress.
Crippled short stack - Just picture yourself sitting in a bunker, grenade in hand. No time to waste - pick your spot, pull the pin, and pray ...
Wow, i really am bored tonight.

Re: Playing the big stack
I just discovered that Matty is write when playing against me.
Either wait for me to overplay a bluff or just let the river do the work.
The funny thing is it always seems to be a Q on the river that is killing me.
Get your money in with the best hand, it's no longer making me feel good. It's not a consolation prize!!!!!
lol
I am now 16 from 52 in the last two weeks when I am an 80% favourite or greater with all the chips in the middle.
That's how I roll.

I think my grenade would instill some fear in that roman army. Swords and shields versus the explosive power of a grenade! Might need a couple of them though...
Will dance for your chips!
