Im guessing your a VIC player one-chip, cos SA hasn't had 11 state finals yet. I wish we had though, best weekends ever.

I understand that it is done and you have all talked about it fully.
But I just wanted to add another objection to it so it may never happen again.
You have to understand that new forum members here have not all had there opinions heard so topics that may be old to you and other regular forum members me be re brought up from time to time.

If you get some spare time, feel free to go through the threads that interest you. Sure, it's mainly SA-related but it's still relevant and interesting.
I'm sure Garth has noted your objection - but rest assured, it was a mistake, and done poorly - but really in the grand scheme of things it's a small blip on the radar of the NPL.
Personally, I don't understand how it's THAT big of a deal. I guess people put more weight and importance in the top 50 leaderboards, state finals, etc, than I do.
The competition is elite, the staff great, prizes excellent and quality of service overall, second to none. Of course, I'm basing this on the NPL in SA so it could be different.
It's free poker. All these prizes, and service, and great times.. things like Double Points December might happen every now and then. Email head office, have your say and you'll be heard. All good.
And before everyone starts going on about "it's not free, you have to pay for drinks, etc".. well you DON'T HAVE TO. If it enhances your experience, do it. If you don't want to, then don't pay for anything. It's just like a venue putting on a band, for free. People come to see the band, which the venue pays for, and then hope that people will buy meals and drinks whilst watching the band. The NPL is like a band, in a pub, hopefully bringing the venue money.
