Really really interesting changes there Garth!
I won't pretend I followed them all, for example all the tournaments your talking about, I just get a little confused.

It is awesome to note that those on top of the regional leaderboard will now be given a token something to add to the collection.

Can FTT be given to others?
Say a player has 2 FTT but needs one more, can they get that chip from a buddy make up the 3 FTT's they need?

Not sure I understand the part about the 'Venue Winner Bonus' or exactly what that is.

I do reserve my opinion in regards to the Double Bonus points.

But all in all, things look as fair and equitable for all as can be, it is always going to be unfortunate that country areas are always going to be a little disadvantaged, but this at least attempts to even up the playing field.

interesting changes indicated --

correct me if my NPL game management is wrong/

season one 2009 commences 1st Monday in January 10 week season.

I play my home venue once a week finish on FT and make the top three for extra points

take out a bounty player for bonus points

do this three weeks in the first five weeks to play a regional final

in week five having prize pool of $1500 ?.. and if I finish top five //final table at this event to go to a Main Event..

then go to a larger venue in my region several times and finish in the top fifteen to gain extra points to gain leader board points and or FT qualification points... making sure I play in weeks 7 and 9 to gain ' double points so attain a top five position in my Regional Leader Board..

these points then gain me entry into a " NPL " Main Event " played in the Metro area at the end of of every season with a carrot of $25000 prize pool...

hmm if I still have time I can play a deep stack Event and a forum 'special' Event . ..

busy boy playing free poker ,,, shall I fold for the points or go

the Win !!...

picture this Me all in BB I never Look... 2000/4000... flops [qxs] [2xd] [xad]

three callers ...

turn [6xh] river [qxh]

he declares can " you beat triple Q's

me smiles and turns " Pocket Aces... to survive yet again.

F/T here I come...

love this game of Poker.

The Venue and Regional trophies/ prizes nice addition to next Season.
and the tweaking of the five week [ mid season]. RF should make for some competitive poker throughout the venues and Regions roll on NPL...

Sorry guys,

I had to delete some posts.

The big bosses are reading this one shortly and I need to remove a lot of the non feedback articles.

Please do not hijack this thread, remain on topic.

Hi Caroline,

FTT's are non transferable for all regular NPL competition events.

Venue winner bonus - for all those who finish 1st on a venue leaderboard and attend the main event. The highest placed "venue winner" at the main event will receive a bonus of $1,000. 2nd highest placed $500 and third highest placed $300.

So if all venue winners are out in the first twenty minutes of play the last venue winner standing (even in with 300 players left) will receive the bonus. Does this make sense?

Garth, still looking for an answer on my question (you may have missed it in the slew of posts, that's alright).

You mentioned that FTT's are null and void until next year. Does this mean that FTT's we have accumulated until now are useless? Can we use them for next season's events?

There will be a FTT event in December.

Sporadically throughout the year we will hold one off tournaments that are not part of the regular competition structure.

These tournaments will have FTT's as part of the entry. All accumulated FTT's can be used for these events.

Does that make sense?
