Looks lke there is definately a push for Sunday arvos to come back, and as much as I love the venue for Poker, Sunday nights are still the best option for me. The Gully has stopped Sunday nights, and there ain't much more on in the North East then.
That being the case, how about a double-header? Same deal as other venues with double-headers - win both and double the prize?
Another idea is a prize for the top few on the table at season's end. For that matter I reckon it ought to be standard NPL practice...

Hey Nevvawon!!! Great to see your input on this thread.....didn't have time to stop and chat for long at Port Club......as usual was dying for a fag!! Hans Gruber.....love the idea about the double header on Sundays....and prizes for top 5 is a great idea......at least there's some reward for all that hard work during the season instead of just a State Final seat where you never know what's going to happen......just ask Eugene!!!

Hasn't been a reply to this one for a while - what's the go with this one Cruella? I'm still keen on Sunday night Poker in the North East, and will be a definate player every week for any venue that starts it up in the area.
Damn the Gully!

Re: Highlander....ideas??
Played tonight (51 runners). Mate won.
The 3 stamps for TED's wasn't going, but still Steak Night (12.90 & 4 stamps) is good. I enjoy it there = regular venue for Wed
My mate won the $100 first prize too.
($500 for the venue leader at season's end)

I'm not perfect. I'm what perfect aspires to become
