I'd have to disagree there Garth - what is more important than where you drink sits?
But more seriously, I like the ones with the cup holder set in from the edge (the deep ones) on nights when I've had a few, and on nights when I like to concentrate, I like the ones on the edge. Consistence is fantastic isn't it?
Either on the edge, or set in 6 inches, my preference would be for DEEP cup holders. Having drink spilt on the cards, or your lap CAN really put a damper on the evening, slow things down etc.
It also appears that there are some tables reaching the very end of their useful life - what I great time to have this conversation!
