Will be travelling down from Waikeire on the night and travelling back on the same night for work the next day.

Now does that make me a fan or a supporter or both :lol:

It sucked that we could only buy a max of 4, as we wanted to buy more, but still good.

nice one...

Fan = abbreviation of Fanatical

Supporter = Supporter.

answer to question = both..

a Fanatical Supporter =

fanatical

fa·nat·i·cal [ fə náttik'l ]

adjective

Definition:

extremely enthusiastic: excessively enthusiastic about a particular belief, cause, or activity

supporter

• noun a person who supports a sports team, policy, etc.

Bruce's English Lesson---

an adjective describes a noun.

-----> adjective followed by a noun

= A maccatakll

excessively enthusiastic [about a particular belief, cause, or activity] ,

a person [ maccatak ll ].who supports a sports team, policy, etc.

care ozzie english can convert an adjective to be used as a noun or even visa versa. ie a Cocky can be Cocky. or a Fan can be Fanatical...

here ends my Grandma Lesson. :o

fan/supporter are the same thing, it's if you're full of it or not that really counts.

Mafau has done a marvellous job getting those tickets :D

They sold out in an hour, not too shabby.
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

No, no, that just wouldn't do. I helped someone here at work get online in time to get some tickets - they tried last week, and thought they were all sold out. In return for my assistance, I asked that if anyone pulled out from their group, I could get first go at their tickets.

Little story off the AFC website - talking about General Manager of Gamba Osaka, Shiro Kurawara:

Turning to the present, Kuwahara prophesied that Gamba would win the AFC Champions League title.

“Last night I dreamt that our team had won the title against Adelaide United 3-1,” said Kuwahara.

This prompted the Adelaide representative in the audience to ask him who scored for Gamba in the game so that “we can mark him”.

Pat came the reply from Kuwahara: “(Takahiro) Futagawa, (Yashuhito) Endo and (Masato) Yamazaki…” as the delegates burst into laughter.

Gamba play Adelaide United in the AFC Champions League final on November 5 and 12.
