Bob, from where you are, it would be quicker to slip up to the Kingsford (if you like your poker rowdy!) or the Sir John Franklin at Kapunda (if you like it more relaxed).
We've been having themed nights (Australia Day, Valentine's Day, AFL season opener) at the Sir John and it's been a lot of fun and very well received. Mondays (Tom Calderwood) and Wednesdays (Steve Norman).

Thanks for the input roodog.

I used to play the Kingsford Thursday nites and actually stopped going there due the noise in the front bar, LOL

I left there for the Wheat sheaf a little bit closer to home and still in the B&G group.

Kapunda's a little bit out there for me but thanks for the info.
