the difference is, knowing he has QQ means you lose a small pot, but knowing you have hit a disguised backdoor straight with 25o can win you a big pot.

i think i have changed my mind, b would be better

A

Assuming you can remember the hole cards on every street.

You know where you are in any hand, with any player.
You know what you can push people off of, and what you are WAY behind.
You know when to bluff and when not to bluff.

You know what gets there and what doesn't.

this is prolly option b, because you will lose hands still.

Should play a few rounds using both outcomes and see what is better.

I'm with B for a cash game, but since this was about MTTs, I'm with A. Once your M starts dropping, you're going to have to shove it in a little more often and I' think I'd have more opportunities to stick it in knowing their hole cards, than knowing hte board.

You shouldn't have to shove, or be short stacked, at any point.

ok, I'll rephrase that, you can tell who'll be calling your raise, pushing over you etc. easy money if you can do the math.

B seems more like a long run proposition. Can't really wait for the perfect board in an MTT, unless we're talking deep stack, which wasn't stated :D

No, I really can't see me wanting to know the board in an MTT PF - I'm ok at working out what hands are likely to call a raise etc. Much more useful when we don't have unlimited time
