Poker Forum member would be me.
Both Ratnik and Glyn out.
Nathan still left standing and doing well.
Dennis Huntly has just taken the chip lead with 400,000. Dennis is a good bloke and even though he is a bit of an Australian tournament pro, he continues to play his local NPL game in Bacchus Marsh whenever he can and has qualified for his last three $25K ME and finished second two seasons ago in said event.

Hot Or Not?
Written by JoeyDel, 2009 03 22 05:01 pm EST
Nathan Butler has certainly been turning some heads so far in today's tournament.
He has accumulated a nice stack and is really starting to take control of his table.
However his "friends" who have been railing him on PokerNetwork have been quite adamanat that he has an ugly head that should not be publicised any where.
So we ask you, the reader, do you think Nathan Butler has the looks to be a professional poker player?
I am not sure, but he must be doing something right as he has had a beautiful young lady walking around with him for most of his time here in Melbourne(who I had the pleasure of winning a nice pot of during some $2/$3 NL action earlier this week)!
Even if Nathan Butler's friends think that he does have a face only a mother could love the $100,000 on offer if he can win this tournament could certainly change a few of their minds!

Balaban Busto
Written by blanklacholland, 2009 03 22 05:04 pm EST
Tim Balaban will be joining his brother Darko on the sidelines after being eliminated by Nathan Butler.
Before the break, Butler opened for 16,500 pre-flop which Balaban called. After a flop of {9-Spades}{4-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} Butler led out for 22,000. Balaban raised all-in sending Butler into the tank.
"There's too much money in the pot, I have to see if my Ace-high is good!" said Butler, as he made the call.
Butler: {A-Spades}{7-Diamonds}
Balaban: {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}
It wasn't good for Butler until the {A-Diamonds} spiked on the turn! Balaban cringed, he knew he was drawing thin. A meaningless {5-Clubs} fell on the river, and that, as they say, was that.
Butler moves up to 310,000.

FYI - Shane Warne is the current chip leader, closing in on 500,000 in chips.
Warnie's Dialled In!
Written by blanklacholland, 2009 03 22 05:50 pm EST
Shane Warne just walked past the PokerNetwork desk as he was moving tables - we took a quick count of his chips in the rack and he's on 480,000, making him the current chipleader!
He's obviously taken a few wickets to get to that stack - let's hope he can keep the good form going and turn that into a win!
