Took the weekend off from work. Will be posting photo's tonight, on facebook and on here.

There weren't any goats on the island either. Bit of a shame, might have had a better chance than with the two women.

So naturally being 10am in the morning, check into the room.

After we had settled in we had the welcome lunch. Didn't have my camera at the time so can only relay the story.

On all the tables, they had the Jim Beam V8 Remote control cars. These were display pieces. In view of a slowly getting pissed group of hoteliers. So Once Dick Johnson had turned up, people were getting autographs, it only takes one and everyone starts doing it. I am proud gentlemen and women, that i was the one that picked up a car to get Dick to sign it. However i didn't stop there. I got other people that i had met to start signing it, thinking that this will be a cool memento.

However, things went down hill from there. Security said that the cars were awards for people. Little did we know. And that they weren't letting any leave the place. Unfortunately for me, my first attempt at leaving resulted in me turning around and getting more signatures. My second attempt was woeful. Ran out of the crowd, through security, put my stubby of CC and Dry down, and went to go for the stairs.

The CC and Dry rather than staying put, decided to fall off the table. In a drunken haze, i turned around, tried to pick it up and put on the table again. In which it jumped off again. Damn suicidal CC and Dry. Security caught up with me, told me to leave the CC alone, because it almost cut my face the third time (you think i would have learnt by now). And proceeded to relieve me of my happily signed V8 car. Shattered yes. even more shattered when i found out people took towels and smuggled them out.

Curse the drunken haze. I could have been smarter.

Side bar to this story, before we went to lunch, two guys saying they were going to see Dick, i was worried when they started heading to their rooms. Hopefully they were powdering their noses.

After lunch, had an hour to kill before the welcome dinner. This is what we were treated to.

At this point in time it is 8pm Tuesday i had been up since 6am Monday, and lets say as much as i wanted to Party on, my body was willing to kill me for some sleep. So i went up to the room, fell asleep for 12 hours.
Ready to Face Wednesday and Part 2 of Jim Beam Island.

I am honestly ashamed to say this.
They literally screamed attention whore, at truth be told, just really felt too old for them.

I will impress girls and stuff. but there is no way in hell i am going to sit through any High school musical, or listen to Hannah Montana Songs.

Well i had my hearts set on the big v8 falcons sitting there. Only problem is, couldn't take it with me on the plane. Let alone find a safe place to stash it.
