I'd like to get high in the B&G regional leaderboard (11th season 2-08). I have to be able to play more games, as I didn't play enough to start dropping off my low scores. My natural av. across ALL games played (incl DNP) was 26.9, (and that's without playing at the Kingsford)so I know I can get up in the money!

I'd really like to go deep into State Finals too.

Here's a story for NPL Forum readers!

Accidentally(!) got into State Finals s1-08, when I was trying to bust out players in the last game of the season, to run a block for my wife (who was fifth at the venue - myself 6th). Once I busted them, I'd racked up a heap of chips and couldn't back pedal quickly enough to get rid of them (all in $6000 on Q6 off, two callers and won it on high card- stunned). Consequently overtook the missus for 5th.

No loving in the household that week I can tell you.
Bluffing?!! Me?!!

GOAL = to Enjoy and Improve my Poker Game.

I start playing NPLSA to see if I was any good at it and to be better than most other players.

After four seasons playing three regular venues my lowest placed position at a venue -twelfth , twice venue season leader, and four times in positions out of the top 5 at these venues. This has lead to four State Finals , the Aussie Millions and Sky City qualifier and Regional Playoff participant.

Looking forward to playing/winning more in larger field/ Events i.e Berri Deepstack........

cheers

8-) :) :D :geek:

My goals are simple and achievable.

1. Enjoy playing the game, respect my fellow punters and support the venues.

2. Win a bloody tourney to get this monkey off my back, LOL.

3. Make it to the top 15 or final table @ 50% of my tourney's

4. Attempt to finish in either top 50 or a top 5 position to make the finals.

5. Make a top ten finish at the finals or the big stack at Berri.

6. Keep enjoying the company and the game.

My goals for the previous seasons were to just make sure I was never the first one out and I have achieved this goal so far. One goal would be to play reasonable at the upcoming regional final. Another goal would to get benny the cunt Macca to actually respect my raise, even if it is a min raise. Finally my 3rd goal would be to actually play some decent poker and maybe finally win a tourny as I'm the only one in my group of mates who is yet to do so. Anyway, my goals are fairly standard and hopefully I can achieve one if not all of them
If you've got luck...use it!

My Goals & Expectations:

To not be concerned with state finals, promotions, or anything like that. To play when I can, but treat every tournament as an individual event, regardless of points.

To visit venues I haven't been to, including various Barossa/Gawler venues, and some down south. To ,meet various other people from the forum at these venues.

To continue to work on the nplsa.com forum.
