I have to agree regarding the events.

To run two events in two days with around 1000 seats in total (?) was a huge effort.

The TDs on both days were excellent. Everything was well sorted and ran to plan (I would assume).

It was amusing standing outside the door before flight one of Sunday, watching all the TDs run around like perfume girls at David Jones before post-Xmas sales ;)

Well done to the NPL.

Yeh the TD's did an awesome job running the floor.

Garth, even a hat for the final table winners would have been enough.
What annoyed me more, is that people I beat actually won something (being a seat in finals, which I already had qualified for). So they came out with something more than what they walked in with. Anyways I'm over it. Season one is done and dusted. Well done to all.

Bring on season 2.

We do not condone selling of seats at all. If any player is caught selling their seats they will be banned from the competition. It just means that if we hear of it happening again, transferral of seats will not be allowed. I heard many of the rumors too. But without any evidence that is all I can classify them as, rumors.
But we did have one fine gentleman raffle off his secondary seat to raise money for one for his local charities. He did have permission from NPL and his local venue to do this.
There were a few hiccups that we hope to rectify for the next one.
We are all learning!

As are we...

Don't worry - as players we are more than understanding of the NPL still finding things out!

No worries there at all.

I want to join those who have commented on this already by saying that I thought the NPL staff have done an excellent job in organising and running the two huge events, the Aussie Millions Satellite and the State Finals.

I have had the good fortune in the past to see some large international tournaments overseas and I think what was done that weekend would rival some of those in organisation and planning. For self-proclaimed learners (yeah right), that was a divine effort.

About buying and selling the Aussie Millions Satellite seats, I have heard those rumours too. Personally, I do not see why people may not be allowed to sell their second (or more) seats - perhaps Garth just needs to convince us of his reasons!
