Thanks Bacon I was hoping you were able to see my post. I'm pretty sure it's around that time too but wasn't 100% sure.

The missus is going out so anyone on Bolivar road wanting a lift let me know on here and I'll see what I can do.

That friggin site is so damned hard to find anything it's frustrating. I know there are copy write rules but, how hard would it have been to show the new IT guys who seem to have zero knowledge of poker what was working so well for all and sundry????????????

Sorry if I am offending someone by saying what I'm thinking as it's not intentional. I don't think I'm Robinson Carusoe on this one or Man Friday. :o

Are you really considering playing Bob? If so, are you playing to win a ticket for a particular person, or planning to profiteer off of an 888PL member that does not yet have a ticket that IS willing and wanting to play this weekend? No smiley faces either. Sigh.

If he wins, I'll offer him 40% for a free ticket.

Why does it matter that he's trying for another ticket - he may want to hold the second one over, or he may want to sell it. The prize pool is the same, so who cares??

I see Nathan's point. Bob could potentially knock someone out who really wants a ticket, with some ultra-loose play, because "What do I care, I have a ticket" mentality, and then try and profit from said loser.

Not saying Bob would do this intentionally, but I do see why winning a further ticket in the last chance re-buy could be frowned upon (I'd love to see the event open only to non-qualifiers).

Besides Bob, as a qualifier, you have an invite to the party. Wouldn't that be more fun???? :-D

I like this idea and hate it at the same time. As we know it'll never happen, but its an interesting thought.
