Benjani will have a cry, and go back to Pompey.

I think Robinho will pay a more AM role.

Adebayor was always a mercenary... Arsenal should've sold him last time (but I think they got the same money).

Yeah Robinho is more of a second striker, kinda like Rooney or Keane. So I think they'd have Adebayor paired with Robinho if they went for only 2 up front.

They could also use Adebayor with Tevez.

Benjani will def look to leave. He was pretty good at Portsmouth but that was under Harry Redknapp who always manages to get the best out of players so his best days in the EPL might be behind him.

Bellamy is a reasonable striker in his own right, as is Santa Cruz, and he could easily get another club but he does have excellent pace and would be great off the bench for them if he doesn't have a sulk.

Macca: most top clubs aim to have 4 good strikers on their books where 2 or 3 of them get a majority of the game time over the season depending what formation the manager plays. It's hard for a manager to juggle those ego's but the fact is unless the club is doing well in the domestic cups and also playing in Europe then there are going to be unhappy strikers due to lack of opportunities.

Imagine if Hughes wanted to play a 4-5-1 :) He'd almost instantly get the sack if he did, but geez that'd be hilarious :)

Steve: no I hadn't seen that article but I'm not too surprised. Soooo much money falling out of those owners pockets (if those big dress things even have pockets). Get into the fantasy league Steve!

lovely work Steve!

Might see if some of Beccles' footballing friends want in as well. One of them is a manure fan so the banter is bound to be awesome :)
