Instead of calling next season "Season 4", how about refering to it as "Season 2 - 2008".
Im not being anal, but think about a few years time when someone is trying to get you to recall "Season 34". Impossible. But if you said "Season 2 - 2014", you can put a time frame to what is being talked about and when.
Anyone agree?

As per the NPL.com.au site it is actually referred to it this way.
I'd say more people would refer to your way as the numbers increase. But at the moment season 3 is quite easy to rememer.
