I don't think they are counting the charity/community shield as thats just a once off game, than an individual competition.
League Cup, FA Cup, Club Championship, Premier League, UEFA Champions League are all individual compeitions in their own right.
I think we won't get the FA Cup though... so many games to be played and I think the EPL and UEFA CL will get preference.

I did indeed watch the match Steve and I couldn't be happier. The first 30 minutes were absolutely sensational.
How's the scoreline for Bayern Munich vs Sporting Lisbon????

I missed the 2nd penalty, my stream went down, but I think I heard Pete from my place
Had Tevez tapped that ball in at 2-1 when it went across the face, it would've been a different story.
But Gerrard's miss from in front was pretty bad too.
And Dossena might be making a spot for himself with the fans. I believe he hasn't been well liked this season, but that was a great goal.
I'm not totally convinced on the red card, but it wasn't that harsh. 50/50 decision imo.
