STUPID STEVE

Postby Chelsea4thewin » Thu Dec 11, 2008 12:02 am

im a very bad player

playing a 140 player $2 + 0.25 tourney

30 left, 5th in chips with 9.5 k, blinds 100/200

Big blind, im dealt Q, Q

mid position raise to 600, button calls (big stack), first mistake i CALL

flop K,Q,9 all diamonds, i am scared of the flush so i push in instant, MISTAKE TWO VERY BADDDD MISTAKE

mid-position folds, button calls shows 10, 7 diamonds for the flush

BRAIN FREEZE or something, i didnt have to do it, i had been griding poker all night and it was working, was playing sweet

this is the worst feeling in the world, its not the $2 buy in i dont care about that, its just the gut feeling of regret, im better then this

anyone else have these moments? lucky i logged off or i would of lost my bankroll

Sounds like the new Ray-Bans were a bad investment ;)

yep, had those moments all the time... Now if it doesn't feel right to call, then I won't

Every single time i think someone doesn't have a hand and i am ahead of their range, only for them to show those Rockets.

But hey getting called by 7,10 Diamonds ain't too bad with queens, i will take that race everyday.

maybe not the worst play i have made

i was just more annoyed at the fact i went all in, with such a relaxed blind structure i didnt have to, but hey the big stack just happened to flop a flush, i was gonna lose quite a bit of money there either way

would of been so sick if the board paired haha

Calling pre flop was not so crazy.
But the all in.......
I know players that will call any amount to chase a flush.
