We get WINTV (channell 7 with local news and adds) and WIN10 (channell 10 with local adds). So we dont even get channell nine (without a huge f-off aerial) let alone a whole new sports channell.

well the answer is simple, buy the huge f off aerial, plenty have already in waikerie and they get all the adelaide stations plus the HD,

Hey krunchie, cheers for that. i wasn't sure whether people could get the HD channels with the huge f-off aerials. I know in clare (similar distance to town as here) they have very unreliable digital services that drop in and out all the time.

Unfortunately cos im in a DECS house currenlty i won't be getting a big aerial any time soon, but it will make my decision easy when i finally do buy my own house here.

the reliability issue i cant answer for, as i am not one of the few that have the aerial, but i can certainly find out the informaiton you need as i know a few that do.

The other option is to talk to the guys at retrovison, they will know if it is posible in your chosen area.

The thing about waikerie is the hill it is built on, if you live on top no worries if you live on the slope like me, it is unlikely that you will get the signal all the time.

about 4 years ago, my cousin brought his box to my place and tried it i got an inconsistant signal, but i am on the rear slope of waikerie and dont have a big aerial
