I just lost $20 in a ring game in 5 mins.

So I bought into a 10 c/25 c NL 9 man ring game, for $20. I'm a little cashed up today and wanted to make a profit.

The table is new so we've only got 3 players here. Then, they start to arrive. We get 3 new players and they ALL post the BB buy in.

"Omg give me Aces!"

Cards are dealt... Aces! Omg! And there's a raise to $1.35! Here we go! I make it $3.75. A caller, wow! Original raiser all in for $10, yes! I shove for $20, the caller folds.

AA vs AKs! HELL YEAH.

He flops a flush. I am f*cked.

Sigh.... now I'm down to $9.50. I call a min raise with AT.

Flop: [2h] [2c] [10s]. The raiser bets the pot, $2. I raise to $5.25. He has $10 behind him... and calls.

Turn: [Kh]. He goes all in for $3.70. The pot is $12 now, so I gotta call.

He shows AK. Called my raise on the flop with nothing.

And next hand, just to top it off, I push all in for my last $2 with QQ, only to run into AA.

Cash games suck.

AA vs AK. Good time to get your money in ahead.

Top Pair vs AK. Little bit harder, but the guy is floating here. Mainly if you are attempt at betting to take down the pot, he has the options to at least have two higher cards better than you, or can improve more often than not against you 10. If you have a 2 well, then it becomes a play to capitalise on.

QQ vs AA Shit happens.

Brett.

I don't see at any point in time how he could call my raise.

Brett: Eh. I still don't get it.

Made 100 today, playing cash games. 0.10/0.25 level. Cash games FTW.
