Date for regionals?

This question is for Toddy Rivers. Is there a date and or venue confirmed for the Riverland regionals. I have heard many little birdy's telling me numerous things, including that Renmark Club, Berri Resort and Waikerie Club are all possible venues - but hang on, thats nearly every venue in the region, so it narrows it down bugger all.

Any news on this? I missed the last one, and am aiming to at least finish ahead of Gundog so i can start my own thread about how good i am

Although far away and extremely impractical for barossa folks who live an hour away, the Bentleys is indeed an awesome venue. Used to drink there often when i worked in Clare. If only it wasnt so far away.

VINE INN!! Regionals were awesome there. Yeah, I know you told me tonight Matty that its not happening, but bloody hell, get onto em again At this rate it'd probably help to have it after State Finals. The 16th is really close - the more notice people have, the better.

Well that's pretty easy dopy. He has to have it before the state final, and he had a date that was acceptable to NPL so that's the date he has to work with. Comprendo?????????

Dopy? Umm relax man.

OK.. say the date was xx. They approach a venue. "We want this venue on xx for regionals". What if the venue says no? At at guess theres only 3 venues which can hold it. What if all 3 are booked up? Then they are fckd.

They would have a date in mind, but there is no point announcing it until they are sure they can find a venue which is available on that date.

If they announce the date, idiots like you will take it as gospel, and then whinge if the date gets changed.
