Thanks Tim and to all the staff and players another state finals finished with and 6 weeks before we do it all again. Unfortunately it will not be the same as Garth will not be the one running it and we will all miss him, but i look forward to Annabelle stepping up to the throne lol.

No bullshit about how you were having a joke or been sarcastic, but I'm almost at the point of saying you have crossed the line there. Either way you read that last post it can come across as a double barbed insult to either myself or Annabelle.

Bob i have met Annabelle a few time she is a really nice and honest person. I give her credit for the big job she has taken under her belt... mannn... if that was me i would be covered in grey hair talk about stressful she is doing a good job

I wasn't going to bother replying to the comments made regarding my post but some how there are some really bad crossed wires here.

The comparison of Garth to Annabelle was meant to be "FUNNY" people. There's our Garth who can be seen as an aggressive type of person dressed in black and Annabelle who looked so lovely and petite etc. NO COMPARISON.

I too have met Annabelle on at least two occasions and in fact I did have a moment or two with her at the Cavern. I commented on how she didn't look how I had imagined. When she asked why? I said, she just didn't look like a boss type woman but it's obvious you have the credentials otherwise you wouldn't have got the job.

I said for some reason I thought she would be bigger/taller and have a more aggressive appearance similar to you yourself Garth. We all had a bit of a laugh and she said she'd work on it or something to that effect.

Now to put things in their correct prospective to my post. There was you on Sunday dressed in black doing what you do best trying to rev up applauses for the various people etc, etc. And Annabelle who was obviously taking it all in as it was I believe her first state final.

She appeared to be a little nervous when I said hello and asked her how she was going. I said that'll be you next time (meaning what you were doing at the time Garth), we both smiled and I said you'll be all right once you settle in.

So, Garth, if you think I was taking the mickey out on you and or Annabelle your so wrong once again.

And for Alex, Miss X and David obviously Annabelle has the goods and the NPL management believes she is the best person for the job. That's it!!!!

My comments were purely based on Garths aggressive image compared to Annabelles petite image, nothing more, nothing less and you turn it into a friggin negative.

Well it's going on for 4am here and as I'm still somewhat annoyed with the replies I'm off to bed.

I got what you meant Bob. When I read your first post, I literally laughed, as I couldn't see Annabelle acting like that either (because Garth does it so well). Garth is a big, loud, hmm... not so much aggressive, but forthright, male. Annabelle's a smaller, reserved female. Can I see her yelling across the room to the TD's? No, but that doesn't mean she's not going to. I did assume you were just saying out loud what a few people were thinking, so to say, and as soon as I read your explanation post, it all clicked.

The thing is though, text can be a funny thing. Often, things are misconstrued. Reading back your post, its not completely obvious that you're just comparing the two. It could come across as a small stab at Annabelle. Perhaps if you had included something like this in your original post, we wouldn't have this problem.
