whats the bet pete that you get close to the finals, and in the last couple of weeks you give into temptation and get your cards stamped so that you can guarantee your spot in the finals?
is there a bet on with you and scott in case this happens?
btw, this must have been your idea, otherwise it would have been a fight over who gets to have the stamped cards!

Re: Big Pete's Zero Card Challenge
lol, thanks for the support benny the cunt
yep it was my idea and a big "nope, not happening" to the giving in theory
Obviously Scott had to agree in the first place or it just wouldn't be happening, we both threw some ideas around and this is what we decided on.
P.S. no, there's no bets on.

Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

Re: Big Pete's Zero Card Challenge
so whats the penalty if you sit on a different table than scott, secretly get your card stamped up, and get the TD to backhand you the extra thousand when scott isnt looking?
lol i couldnt do it i dont think - sitting at the first break with 200 on the table, knowing that i could have 2200 at this point in time would do my head in. this would also mean that i would probably tilt early to try and get a big stack knowing that i should be at around 3K.
but then again, you are the (disputed) best folder in the NPL!
looking forward to finally playing against you guys some time. not sure when that will be though

Re: Big Pete's Zero Card Challenge
Scott and I almost always sit on the same table anyway, there's zero chance of me sneaking in a card (also part of the reason for publicly announcing this).
One thing perhaps in my favour is that across 3 seasons I've consistently been able to last for ages with stuff all chips. That's really going to get tested next season though.
If you get your missus onto the forum we can all ask her when you're allowed out to play with the big boys next
