You're a Bunch of Factors

I've been waiting for our TD or Regional Manager to post something to let you all know that the "WHEATSHEAF HOTEL" is now on a "TUESDAY NIGHT".

I'm sure it's probably an oversight so on their behalf I'd like to let everyone know the venue has changed from a Wednesday to a Tuesday nite venue. It would be great to see if it can boost the numbers and make it a better venue than it is already.

So, to all you B&Gers who played at the Willow on a Tuesday nite and still want a game in the B&G REGION. Here's your chance and anyone else who wants to have a great nite and like me who live in or around the Salisbury area.

They have great meals at reasonable prices and a more than generous stamping for your flight cards.

For a main meal;
They have a "Specials board" that varies every week. Hot lamb or turkey roll w/chips and gravy $7.90 and specially marinated chops are to die for when they are on. Plus their regular Menu that are reasonably priced and stamping isn't a fiasco like some venues.

For desert;
HOME MADE APPLE PIE, STICKY DATE PUDDING & PAVLOVA WITH ICE CREAM AND CREAM FOR $5.50 TO DIE FOR, LOL

Dam who wants to play poker when the food is so good LOL.

No, seriously it's a great country pud in the middle of Virginia. Less than 10 minutes from Salisbury and only around 20 minutes from Gawler via Angle Vale road.

We normally get around 20 to 30 runners and there are some good and some really freaky players there so we need a challenge from all you Guys and Gals who think you can play poker, LOL

I'm sure Linda our Venue winner & Glenda Campbell along with the rest of us will give you a run for your money.

Glenda is/was top dog in the B&G Region, plus top at the Kingy's Friday nite games and top fived at their Thursday nite and the Wheaty's Wednesday nite tourney's and also finished in the states top 50 so watch out for her.

Bloody women are taking over the world of Poker now LOL

Can't wait to see some new faces out there for a good nite of poker.

Have kind of been on holidays mate so forum use has had a break too. Yes sometimes we do need to get away from it all. But now we are back so let the games begin.

There will be a message sent in relation to this to inform all players of the night change. Its going to be awesome there this season.

Oh Bob dont worry bout AK and his entourage lol you will greater fish to fry like a friendly staff member playing. And of course remember knock out a staff member and instant 15th place points now.

Wheatsheaf are now running Tuesday, and i look forward to seeing matty and Darren regularly offering the Hunt the TD bonus. Perhaps even making the final table with the best dealer from Elizabeth dishing it up.

Food really is top grade, and i can't stop myself eating that yummy pasta.

Stamping up system is really really good. This is a pub looking for new people coming in and enjoying it!

I hope to see some new people this season, and I hope to provide you all with some great laughs.

No problems M8. As you know I'm also interested in boosting the numbers at the Wheaty and I'm hoping to see some of my old M8's from the Gardens.

I was chatting with Porky (our state points winner) last night on Face book and he's very interested in coming. Watch out if he does and he can sit with Yabby, Ziggy and Co, LOL. I think you might have to put 2 tables together to so they and the Gawler boys can play together.

Although I aired my views regarding TD's playing I'm really looking forward to playing with Matty and or Darren as I believe they are both worthy opponents at the game of no limit holdem.

The downside is they know how I play and I'm in the dark as to how they play. Very interesting, should I change my tactics from game one or test the water first???????????

I might even introduce them to my internet game play tonite and see how it goes. At least I'll be able to see their body language. It could be interesting to say the least.
