PADDLE WHEELER REVISED COST

Postby captainproud » Wed Sep 10, 2008 11:54 am

To All Captain Proud Paddle Paddle Boat Players.

To keep the Venue a happening event for NPL we have had to review our stamping policy. This has increased the cost to players of around $6.00 average and regret that this has had to happen. Cost of holding a NPL Event which includes mandatory staff requirement for a boat of this size as well as extra Security for players cars has left us no choice in order to keep the vessel as a venue.

The good thing is. 1/2 price drinks will remain after 1/2 time break and you will get a extra stamp for the cruise. The average player will save a lot more than the increased stamping cost over the bar on a NPL night.

Cruise --- $18.00 2 stamps (Increased by $8.00 and increased stamp..

Food over $10.00 3 stamps (Same as Before)

Food under $10.00 2 stamps (Same as Before)

Spirits and Beer --- 2 Stamps (Same as Before)

Soft Drinks 1 stamp (Same as Before)

!/2 Price Drinks after half time break until last person leaves. Example Beer from $2.50 Spirits Mix $3.00 Soft Drinks $1.00

That sounds fair to me! I'm glad to see you're keeping the event rather than let on bad incident Ruin it. Car security is a must and the price increase us more than reasonable.

For those who have never been on the cruise it is a great night. Lincoln and the Captian Proud team do a fantastic job. I will hopefully be up there one night soon as I had great time up there.

If you don't go, you'll never know!

You can find a review here if you're interested.

I quite enjoyed it, but living near the city, it isn't something i'm rushing to do again. Will certainly at some point tho :D

Hey Guys!!!

A little update for you about the Boat!

Every Friday night, 6:30pm rego, it is now $10 for the cruise!

Also, ALL alcoholic drinks are $5 and soft drinks are $2.

And what's even BETTER: with Daylight's Saving, we go for a cruise, and while you play poker,
You watch the SUN setting over the River!!!

Truly is a magnificent sight, and not to mention - if you want, bring your bathers and jump in! It's getting hot enough, and theres nothing like a cool dip to get over the stress of a poker tournament!!! We'll pick you up on the way back....maybe....

Also - there is full security in the car park, so no need to worry bout the car!
