Hi to everybody that comes up to Murray Bridge to play on the Paddle Boat (Captain Proud). It has been great to read the comments and a pleasure to host the games. To Crystal, thank you for the review on our famous Captain Proud Burger. Love the picture and Crystal the game on Sunday 13th July is 6:30 reg and Start at 7:30 due to a Charter committment in the afternoon. I read you are bringing family and freinds this Sunday and would hate you to arrive expecting a 11:30 reg and 12:30 Game. BUT i do hope you will still come for the later Game. To everyone else please check Sunday Games times prior to the day as they do Change on Sundays due to Charter Committments. Friday Nights are all 6.30 reg and Start at 7:30.
We also run a losers table to keep you playing while cruising and supply a first prize. Bar Drinks are half price during happy hour.(which runs longer than a hour. :D )

How big is the playing area, Greig?

If anyone can take some photos next time they play, would love to see them :)

Xtal has convinced Lou and I to head up there this Sunday. Everything going to plan, I'll get some then if nothing turns up in the meantime.

Is that because of the low number of runners?

To Scott and others,
The Paddle Boat has a large Dining Room and is licensed for 70 passengers. Unfortuantely because we are a boat and subject to limitations on the max of 70 passengers it is always good to book ahead either by email on captainproud@internode.on.net or by contacting Vesna on Mobile 0433162700 just to make sure you will get seated. Until now it has not been a great issue as we have had only 40 arrive at once but again it is winter and people feel that it may be a bit too cold to be on water. However we heat up the dining area and all those who have arrived seem to have enjoyed the night regardles of winter. The talk aound the local area has been extremely positive and I am confident the number will grow especially as we enter Spring and Summer.
And Yes we sell all drinks over our bar at 1/2 price after 1/2 time for the remainder of the night which makes the trip and cruise a very affordable night out. It is true we do charge a $10.00 fee and this covers the cost of my crew and the fuel for cruising for at least 3 hours but for this charge we give you either a complimentary drink or a stamp on your card so not too bad and again what a cheap cruise on a paddle boat.
Sunday cruising times are subject to changes from 11:30 reg or a 6:30 reg each Sunday so look up times on NPL web site under our venue Captain Proud Paddle Boat Cruises.
Come and try The PROUD BURGER. You have not eaten a Hamburger unbtil you have had one of ours and you also get 3 stamps.
The first 8 out of the nights game get a second chance with a Prize for winning on the loosers table.
You can also see pictures of the boat on our website at www.captainproud.com.au
Well I hope to see our regulars back and maybe some new faces these coming weeks.
Captain Proud may also from time to time place bounty's on a particular guest or player so keep looking for updates. :D
