Each season 888Poker League gives away over $20,000 in cash, prizes and poker experience’s to the best 888PL players in the country!

Earning your position into the 888PL Dream team can jump start your career as a professional poker player and could be the start of a life-changing experience. Each season Dream Team members will have the opportunity to win their way through to some of Australia’s largest poker tournaments, both in prize pools and prestige.

Seasonally the Dream Team will face off in an online MTT with a prize pool of $10,000 which will include entries into the major Australian Events. Winners will be rubbing shoulders with the big names in Australian poker, as well as having the chance to take down a huge tournament, win massive prize pools, and create their own name as one of Australia’s elite players.

Qualification for the 888PL Dream Team can be achieved in several ways, rewarding both the big game player who ships one of the big 888PL tournaments as well as the players who love grinding out consistent results day after day at their local venues and online.

The following are the scoreboards or tournaments you will need to be gunning for!!

888PL Grand Final Champion
The 888PL grand final is a national bi-annular event attracting around 400 players from around the country. The Grand Final has one of the largest prize pools on offer in pub poker and gives poker players a true multi-day poker experience. Winning this event will not only gives you a nice pay day, but will earn you a spot in the Dream Team for that season!

888PL State Semi Final Winner
Traditionally, Semi finals generate the largest player fields for a freeroll in each state. Being the last person standing at the completion of a 600 – 800 player tournament is a huge feat. As such, all semi final winners from all states will gain entry into the Dream team.

State Away Scoreboard winner
Players who consistently make the points at our nightly away events can win their way through to the Dream Team via the state Scoreboard. Places on the scoreboard are determined by the average of a players best ten in-venue Away games.

Wild Card Entry
Watch this Space!! Promotions will be running seasonally which will produce 2 lucky positions in the Dream Team. Your local tournament captain will inform players of all current promotions.

Dream Team Scoreboard
The Dream Team Scoreboard is all about rewarding the most consistent and loyal of our supporters who have fully welcomed the concept of the 888PL, by competing in both the live and online arena. To qualify for the DT Scoreboard you must play a minimum of 10 Home and 10 Away games.

As an added bonus, the top 5 of every seasonal Dream Team Scoreboard become members of the 888PL Dream Team.

The Dream Team scoreboard is calculated on the average of a player's 10 best Away (in venue) games and their 10 best Home (online) Games.
