What is the criteria for late registration?

Postby sunbury2 » Sun Aug 08, 2010 9:25 pm

Can someone just advise how many players need to be signed up for a event before late registration is activated?

The $1 Special at 21.15 on Sunday said late reg for 20 mins.
7 players when started tried to play 5 mins in and no late rego!!!
Please advise

i am pretty sure it is 2 levels of late rego for each of the tournaments, but if they only start with 1 table, then the late rego is cancelled.

a good example was the $22 game a couple of weeks ago on a wednesday.

there was only 3 of us that registered, so we all made the money straight away.

but what if they had late rego and i got knocked out first hand, then someone rego'd after?

i think the 1 table thing stops people late registering when there is the possibility of it being very close to the bubble or maybe even in the cash before the late rego finishes, because buying in on the bubble is pretty unfair to the other guys

no worries

the omaha games that i have played recently have had around 6 runners, and they also dont have late rego.

in general, late rego is great - boosts the prize pool nicely

FYI & for the record.

FREEROLL GAMES
Late rego's are open for the first blind level (20mins) for early games.
Late rego's are open until first break (40mins) in late night games (10pm start or later games).

However no players can rego, once a table is broken.

CBI GAMES

You have the first 2 blinds to be paid and SEATED! to play and rego. That rule applys to both Early and late games.

Again, that changes if a table is broken.

Grant, surely you noticed this thread in the 888PL Online Game section.

The rules you just posted are for in venue games, they have no bearing here.
