2. play a short stack correctly

You can go shoving with A7 all you like. I prefer to wait until I'm in front before committing my stack.

And you are consistent with that number 1 on your list...

Show me the poker stove results that say that A7 is behind your assigned range for Jav. Especially a range that had him shoving the last two buttons? You would be well in front (and i dont have poker stove here at work).

By that information alone, and with so few BB i would be double-fist-pump-snap-shoving my stack right in his nostrils.

If you are calling the flop there with Ace high, how are you thinking you are not ahead pre-flop?

I've told you before Jo, I'll say it again. Far too tight for your own good. The fact that you find yourself with 5BB and your not getting it in pre with Ax BvB is a perfect example of that.

Poker is a game of edges, not guarantees. You take your edges when you can, even when you may be wrong. If he has a monster oh well, doesn't mean you played the hand incorrectly.

All good mate!!!

I was just surprised by your reaction and to be honest, I even started doubting myself that I didn't shove that flop and had to double check the histories as I was watching the cricket on delay at the time.

When you asked me why I lol in the chat box, then I knew your tilt level was closer to 10 than 1 :o

I'm pretty sure in happened in one of the OC Events. You raised with 45c or 56c from early position, and I re-raised you with KK from Blinds and you flat call. You had a flush draw and probably even a pair on flop, I shoved and you called (you probably had double my stack) and remember saying to myself, geez he's lucky, I can't beat this guy, you were on a heater (standard) You did apologise but I had no issue with it as I shoved to represent A High or small pair and was hoping you had an over pair to the flop.

Now, I brought it up last night cause you said to me that you wouldn't play such a bad hand, and this hand came to mind cause you called a re-raise with it, again, I had no issue with it but couldn't understand why you would be so upset by it after remembering that hand.

Im gonna just say fold that rubbish pre. If your going to raise him 3 times st8 in that position you should be stronger than that. Im also to the opinion you could check that flop, you must be thinking your have been sprung, your only beating Q high lol.

Jmack is more worthy than the lack of respect you showed him. Chip up a guy like him that easily and 9 out 10 times your going to pay dearly.

Wait.

So you think you're ahead on 479, so you obviously don't believe he has a higher pair. No danger there.

What do you think his range is then? Missed paint? Did your kicker get lucky?

Do you actually think you're ahead, or do you just *want* to think you're ahead.

My point is your holding K3o you raised to much pre and now your sprung. JMack isnt calling you with less than Ax a stronger K or a pair. Go ahead all day and put it all in and your not getting a fold and your behind, thats my read on JMack there. Chip him up and you will pay.

Im looking at it from Jav pov instead of critising a player who gets out there and gets results.
