Daily Phase 1 Aussie Millions Satellite

Hi Jo,

I am currently in the process of working with 888 to make sure these Satellites are fully functioning. It was my initial intention to run daily Phase 1's but some setbacks have occured and made this not possible- as such I will see about having the Phase 1 begin earlier.
The Phase 3 tournament will unfortuantely not be able to be moved at this stage.

Please bear with us guys as we work hard to iron out all of the kinks to ensure everything is functioning 100 percent to allow you maximum opportunity to qualify into Major Events smoothly.

I am working hard to get this done.

Unfortunately, I can't see this phase 3 even happening. If it had been scheduled in a different slot, then maybe, but pretty much all of the serious SA players will be either still going in the State Final, or playing the live side events trying to qualify. I haven't seen too much support from interstate players in the Phase events, so getting the required 11 players fork out the $120 to play (there are currently 2 registered, Mike who won the Phase 2, and Paul James who I assume will be playing SA States this weekend)......well I don't see it happening.

Having said that, it would be a good idea for you guys to at least advertise it on 888pl.com.au and facebook, as I haven't seen any of these games actively advertised yet.

Also, what was the problem with getting daily Phase 1's? 888 ran daily steps for Aussie Millions, no problems.....

Whilst we try to accomodate everyone, there are going to be some that miss out and unfortuantley this time around it is SA. Although having said that unless you were to final table the State Champs you could still play this event with late rego. As much as I would like to say it's all about SA (born and bred ) We have a strong following in Queensland and Victoria also and I strongly believe that we should get the required numbers for this Satellite. The event will be promoted on Facebook and the website from tomorrow- we are in the closing stages of the Golden Ticket promo also, and as such that has taken precendence.

I'm not sure what is wrong with the daily phases, as I am well aware 888 ran quite a successful daily phase system and I wanted to replicate this with our schedule. As I have mentioned before I am in talks with 888 at the moment to iron out all the problems and try and get this sorted for the upcoming season, it's just unfortuante that I usually need to wait until midnight for any contact due to timezone changes.

When I hear back from them, I'll ensure to post the results of our discussions here.

I was in no way suggesting that it is all about SA (I know it comes across that way), just merely commenting on what I have seen so far playing the Phases that have actually got off the ground and run. I haven't seen many of the interstate players wanting to play even the $2.20 Phase 1, let alone the $22 Phase 2. So going by this, it seems unlikely that they will pay $120 for Phase 3. I will gladly be proved wrong though (and hope I am), and proper advertising of the event will definitely help...

When you say "it is still possible to play", you are forgetting that there is a $120 satellite at 5pm (late rego til 6 I assume), so not likely many SA players will choose the online game over this....

I don't agree with your comment that you have tried to accomodate everyone, if this was the case, you would have scheduled this event for Saturday 28th Jan....

Unfortunately, it just seems to be a big error in scheduling....

I think maybe an idea to canel this weekends as 2 people in Main EVent and none registered yet for the Aussie Millions. Looking for satelites to both and nothing listed. Maybe proving to difficult to generate enough players to run 3 promotions at once. (Golden Ticket, Aussie, Main Event)
